Madonna was my all time favorite singer,way back to the 80's. I really don't know the reason why I liked her. I just can't stop myself listening to her songs like "You'll see, Crazy for you and Take a bow". Every time me and my friends will go a karaoke bar I always choose Madonna's songs first.80's songs are really great and totally different from the new generation songs we heard everyday in the radio or on television. The songs before were written with meaningful thoughts from the heart unlike from today. I'm not being bitter or anything It was just an observation, an honest opinion that I've noticed. According to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), she is the best-selling female rock artist of the 20th century and the second top-selling female artist in the United States, with 64 million certified albums. In 2008, Billboard magazine ranked Madonna at number two, behind only The Beatles, on the Billboard Hot 100 All-Time Top Artists, making her the most successful solo artist in the history of the chart.
